Zaal Udulashvili has represented an announcement of Rustavi2"s News Department.

" First of all, we distance ourselves from any kind of violent developments.  Our editorial policy is not linked to  political goals of any political force , our only goal is to have the opportunity to implement  duties of journalists , which implies   unbiased coverage of developments.

We are  against any kind of violence, no matter from whom may it be initiated. In this case, we are under the threat of physical violence. If the violent actions will not be  avoided , the government will be responsible for it.

 We also demand the government to explain the origin of these recordings and explain, how the audio material appeared in the Ukrainian Internet space.

We also request additional explanations,  why this recordings were not published just after their obtaining. According to the recordings , their content could be  life-threatening for the citizens of this country.

We declare that we maintain an independent editorial policy and would like to remind everyone that the only way to protect our freedom of speech are a camera and a microphone. We call on the leadership of the broadcasting company, to prevent the possible complications  don"t allow unknown individuals, including our supporters on the territory of our broadcasting company,"- was said in an announcement.
