Tbilisi City Court Judge Zviad Tsekvava has imposed a fine of GEL 5,000 on the former State Minister for European Integration, Aleksi Petriashvili, and revoked his right to carry a weapon for 3 years.

Petriashvili faced accusations of obstructing the road during the pro-EU protest on January 17.

He has denied the charges, asserting that the accusation is unfounded and he is being penalized for fighting for Georgia’s democratic future.
