Nika Gvaramia, a Director General of Rustavi2 commented on the audio recordings released today.
"Today we face an extremely shameful behavior. First of all, the fact that the Georgian authorities openly cooperate with the Russian special services. These recordings have been made by the Federal Security Service. This is a betrayal of the interests of the country, violation of rights of Georgia"s citizens.
TV stations, which express the government"s interests, Imedi TV and First Channel intentionally or unintentionally have voiced a criminal agreement. Will be investigated what kind of cooperation is between Russian Federal Security Service and Georgian Government. of course, this investigation will not be carried out today, it will be carried out by the independent Prosecutor"s Office. The representatives of these two channels will be questioned. They will have to say how they have got information on the recordings before uploading them ,"- said Nika Gvaramia.
