Defense forces will be involved in the process of assisting the population affected by heavy snowfall in Western Georgia.
The relevant decree was issued by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
“To eliminate the challenges created by the bad weather, representatives of local authorities and relevant services are working in an emergency mode so that the needs of the population are met in the shortest possible time”, - reads the statement of the Government Administration.
