Rustavi2"s case became the main topic at the public discussion held by European House.

Ana Nemtsova, a correspondent of The Daily Beast and Newsweek compared the resent developments to the processes in Russia and drew a parallel with NTV.

"According to my information, Georgia"s leading, independent media outlet - Rustavi 2 is being attacked. This situation reminds me of the attack on NTV. Then Russia fails to protect the TV, and we lost it,"- said Ana Nemtsova.

Lawrence Scott Sheets, an analyst, writer and journalist, said that the attempts to attack media always leads to political disaster.
