Khelvachauri District Court fully shared the evidence submitted by the Prosecutor’s Office and found 2 persons guilty of robbery. The evidence examined at the court hearing confirmed that in Batumi, the accused, demonstrating a pistol-like object in a super-market Billion, with threats of dangerous to life violence assaulted a cashier and obtained 2145 GEL.

The accused were charged under Article 179 (part 2 – sub-clause “b”, part 3 – sub-clause “a”, part 4 – sub-clause “b”) (robbery, committed in group, many times by a person who has been convicted for misappropriation of other’s property twice) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

Khelvachauri District Court found the accused fully guilty of the charge and sentenced them to 11 years and 8 years of imprisonment as a punishment.
