Starting tomorrow, the members of the Tbilisi Government will have their powers suspended until the newly elected City Assembly convenes and approves the new government members. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.
"On Friday, October 31, we will present our vision, specific projects, and plans for the city`s development to the Assembly once again. Even our opponents would likely find it difficult to deny that, in recent years, we have implemented numerous vital projects in the capital city- projects that have made our Tbilisi a greener, more comfortable, better organized, and more developed city.
Naturally, each member of the Tbilisi Government has significantly contributed to this progress, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to them. I also wish to thank every employee of the municipality for their dedicated work. We are ready to continue serving our city and its residents with tireless effort and to carry out important projects for Tbilisi.
Although we have accomplished much, many challenges still remain in the capital. The next four years will be especially important, as we continue working to make Tbilisi an even better city", - said Kakha Kaladze.
