Ukraine may introduce visa regime with Russia from 2016. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has started work in this direction.

The country"s Security Council Secretary,Alexander Turchynov commented on this issue. According to him, the process is slow, as the question of Ukrainian migrants in Russia should be taken into account.
The Security Council addressed the country"s government.as early as in 2014 regarding the question of imposing visa regime.
