Those who pass the state universities from next year and in subsequent years, education will be free for everyone. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

"As for the higher education reform and specifically the issue of financing. We had a meeting, we discussed this issue both in the government format and in the political council format.

We made a decision that starting in 2026, education for students at state universities will be completely free. Those who pass the state universities from next year and in subsequent years, education will be free for everyone.

This is a very important change and this change will be gradually introduced into the state university system", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
