Rehabilitation works on the administrative buildings of the Zestafoni and Sachkhere forestry districts in the Imereti region have been completed. To simplify access to forest related services, a total of 10 administrative buildings have been established nationwide on the initiative of the National Forestry Agency [NFA].

"To improve working conditions and strengthen forestry services, additional new administrative buildings were constructed, which is also important for the local population to seamlessly access the services of the Forestry Agency. Strengthening the agency’s institutional capacity is one of the priority directions of the forestry reform", - said Giorgi Mikeladze, Deputy Head of the NFA.

New administrative buildings were built in Oni, Ambrolauri, and Tsageri, while construction and renovation works have been completed in Lentekhi, Aspindza, Dusheti, Sachkhere, and Zestafoni. This will enable both local residents and the private sector to receive the necessary information and services locally.
