An explosion took place at Gökçen International Airport in Istanbul. Two cleaning service employees were injured as a result, both were hospitalized. 

One of the wounded have sustained injuries to his head and his condition is critical. The cause of the explosion is not yet known.

 As Turkish media reported the airport did not stop working.
