The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia said that the construction of the Anaklia deep sea port is placing a heavy emphasis on local employment, while ensuring high-level execution through the involvement of world-class experts and international firms.
As Mariam Kvrivishvili highlighted, the sheer scale of the project has necessitated the mobilisation of top-tier global expertise.
"This will have a positive impact on the well-being of our citizens, while at the same time we are ensuring the involvement of international expertise to guarantee that the construction and development of the Anaklia deep-sea port project is carried out to the highest standards", - added the Minister.
The marine infrastructure design and construction of the Anaklia deep sea port is being carried out by Jan De Nul N.V., a major Belgian firm and member of Europe`s so-called "Big Four" in marine engineering.
