The Kvemo Kartli police arrested a wanted person in Marneuli

Employees of the Marneuli District Department of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, who was wanted for illegal crossing of the state border of Georgia. The information is released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The detainee was wanted on the basis of a court warrant and had been sentenced to pre-trial detention in absentia.

As a result of investigative activities, law enforcement officers arrested the wanted person in the Marneuli municipality. Currently, the detainee is placed in a penitentiary institution.
