Police detained a person on charges of committing a lewd act against a minor

Employees of the Main Division of Juvenile Affairs of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested a person on charges of committing a lewd act against a minor.

The investigation established that in one of the squares of Digomi Massive in Tbilisi, the accused person committed a lewd act against a minor girl.

As a result of the conducted operational measures and investigative actions, the police have arrested the perpetrator of the crime as an accused person.

The investigation is underway under Article 141, II part of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisioning the imprisonment for up to 12 years.
