During the meeting, Paata Salia and Anna Rich noted that the Ministry of Justice closely cooperates with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and facilitates the provision of various services to stateless persons.

The conversation touched upon the importance of sharing Georgia’s successful practices in the field of reducing statelessness with partner countries, as well as the organization of relevant trainings for employees of various agencies by the Public Service Development Agency of the Ministry of Justice.

It was noted at the meeting that the holding of the Public Services Forum in Tbilisi, which will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Justice and the United Nations from June 23 to 25, stands as an international recognition of successful cooperation and the reforms implemented by Georgia.

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Justice, Beka Dzamashvili, and the Head of the International Relations and Legal Cooperation Department, Ketevan Sarajishvili.
