Customs officers of the Sarpi Customs Checkpoint of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, in coordination with employees of the Main Division of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, discovered a large quantity of the narcotic drug “cocaine” within the framework of jointly conducted customs procedures and investigative actions.

A Turkish citizen had one package containing the narcotic drug “cocaine” concealed in a clothing pocket.

The investigation is being conducted by the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
