A delegation from the Law Enforcement Academy of the Prosecutor General`s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan paid a working visit to the Prosecutor General`s Office of Georgia [PoG].

At a working meeting held at the PoG, members of the delegation of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Prosecutor General`s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan learned about Georgia`s experience in combating domestic violence and received information about Georgia’s best practices in inter-agency cooperation, protection of victims of domestic violence, crime response mechanisms, innovative software and platform implementation.

Organized by the PoG, the delegation members also met with representatives of the Kvemo-Kartli Regional Prosecutor`s Office, the Human Rights Protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Public Safety Center - 112, the Police Academy, the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-custodial Sentences and Probation, the State Care Agency, the Public Defender, and the Faculty of Law of Tbilisi State University.
