Officers of Old Tbilisi Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on charges of facilitating the illegal sale of a particularly large amount of drugs by a group with prior agreement, detained a Ukrainian citizen.

As a result of the conducted investigative experiment, law enforcement officers seized a particularly large amount of "Methadone" drug packaged in one package, prepared for sale, as evidence.

During a search of the defendant`s temporary residence, the police also seized items necessary for the sale of drugs. The investigation is underway under Article 260, V and VI parts of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisioning up to 20 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment.
