Batumi airport works with restrictions due to heavy snowfall

Due to heavy snowfall Batumi airport is operating with restrictions. TAV Georgia confirmed the information to Rustavi 2.

As the company explains,today one scheduled flight was cancelled.It is still unknown when it will be possible to perform the canceled flight.

The flight from Batumi to Istanbul is scheduled for tomorrow as well. But it is unclear whether these flights will be performed.

TAV Georgia does not have accurate information, when the runway will be cleaned. Company officials say that cleaning works will be resumed from the mornng.
