The US Ambassador says that media freedom will be decisive in future elections . In an interview with the newspaper Resonance Ian Kelly said that the public should have an informed choice.

"Regarding "Rustavi 2"s case there was a danger that this principlewould be violated, because the television management change might have affected the opposition channel"s editorial policy.
