Road accident in Batumi- 15 thousand subscribers left without natural gas

15 thousand subscribers are left without natural gas in Batumi. The reason is the traffic accident that occurred late at night streets at intersection of Melikishvili and Gorgasali streets.

According to witnesses, the car skidded off the road and crashed into a gas distributor unit , which resulted in leakage of large amounts of .natural gas from the pipeline.

As a result of the accident no one was hurt, but for security reasons the citizens of the nearby shops were evacuated. For a few hours the electricity supply in the surrounding area was cut off.
