Members of the Javakhishvili State University Academic council are having a meeting at the moment. The meeting held behind closed doors is being attended by the rector Lado Papava.

The meeting will discuss recent developments in the University and, according to unofficial information, possible impichment of Rector Lado Papava.

Until not the impeachment demand has been raised by students` self- goverment only, however, whether this issue will be discussed in a closed session of the Academic Council is not officially confirmed.
