Seven members of TSU self- governance started a hunger strike in the foyer of the University bulding 2. Their main demand is resignation of the Rector.

They were also protesting against the appointment of various government agency representatives at the university. Students also talk about the financial crisis.

Students say they wll continue their strike until their demands are met.
