Case of Rustavi2 - lawyers demanded to recuse judge Natia Gujabidze

A trial of Rustavi2 resumed at the Court of Appeals a few minutes ago.

A Director General of the Broadcasting company and official representative of Karamanishvili attend the process.

Lawyers have already appealed to with the motion to recuse one of judges- Natia Gujabidze. According to Rustavi2"s lawyers the reason is that Natia Gujabidze is co-founder of non-governmental organization, which was protecting Tamaz Urtmelidze in regard to Rustavi2"s case.

It is already known that Kibar Khalvashi will not agree with the motion.

The panel of judges will hear the complaints of the parties today. Rustavi2 objects against decision of Tamaz Urtmelidze , according to which 100 % of shares belong to Kibar Khalvashi. Rustavi2"s lawyers, as well as Khalvashi"s lawyer object to Urtmelidze"s other decision as well.

The process at the Court of Appeals started a week ago.
