" Solidarity to Khadija Ismayilova "- The demonstration is held in Tbilisi in support of arrested Azeri Journalist.  The Protest is planned near the Embassy of Azerbaijan at 13:00.

The Demonstrators call on the Government of Azerbaijan to release the Journalist.

Khadija Ismaylova was arrested in Baku on December 5th. She is convicted to 2 months of pretrial detention.  She was questioned in a connection with the case of Tural Mustafa. She is charged with pressuring a man to commit suicide. If the fault of the journalist is proven, then she can be punished by a term of 3 to 7 years in prison.

Hadija Ismayilova is an author of a number of journalistic investigations of corruption in the highest echelons of power in Azerbaijan, reportedly that is why she  has become the target of attacks of the government for her journalistic activities.
