An incident occurred at a press conference of human rights defenders in Russia. Chechen people broke into the hall and threw eggs at the speakers.

Human rights groups have expressed concern at  the incidents in Chechnya, when the house of the  relatives of fighters killed in Grozny on December 4 were burned  by  local people. Human rights activists criticized Ramzan Kadyrov who encouraged the  population to conduct group punishment.
