One of Rome"s most popular sightseeing- Spanish steps reopens after a year of restoration works.

Restoration work began last October and entailed scrubbing clean the travertine steps, which had become stained with dirt over the years. It was paid for by the famous Italian brand - Bulgari.

According to Rome"s mayor"s order, police will be permanently mobilized near Spanish teps and will control tourists.
