Leuville estate handed over to Georgia

The signing of a final act on the transfer of Leuville estate to Georgia was held in France yesterday.

From the Georgian side the document was signed by Gela Dumbadze, State Minister for Diaspora Issues, while the French side was represented by the family members of the government of the Democratic Republic of Georgia of 1918-1921.

About 5 hectares of land and château located 37 kilometers from Paris

According to the Office of Minister of Diaspora Issues, as a result of yeserday`s signing, the Leuville estate, about 5 hectares of land and château located 37 kilometers from Paris, have been returned to its legal owner - the people of Georgia 25 years late
