The occupied Tskhinvali refused to  allow the State Security to conduct expertise of Archil Tutunashvili`s body.

The state security service released the statement, which says that the de facto authorities named a heart attack as the first cause of Archil Tutunashvili"s death.

"The State Security Service requested to allow the representatives of the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau to conduct the primary examination of the body, but the de facto authorities refused.

"The principle of the State Security Service is to transfer Archil Tutunashvili"s body and release the detainees Levan Kutashvili and Ioseb Pavliashvili in the shortest possible time.

"The first meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) in the village of Ergneti wll be held on March 1, 2018 and the issue of illegal detention of Levan Kutashvili and Ioseb Pavliashvili will be brought to the agenda by the representatives of the State Security Service .

"According to our assessment, the international community"s attention should be mobilized in order to ensure deep and transparent investigation of the cause of Tatunashvili"s death, and the State Security Service continues to provide all the information available to international organizations, "reads the statement.
