Prime Minister Kvirkashvili assesses Russia"s response to his address at a government meeting and states that Russia"s answer leaves the space for negotiations. He calls on politicians to take every step to avoid provocations.

"I would like to emphasize the response we received from the Russian Federation. Of course, many things may not be acceptable in this answer, but one thing is certain that this response leaves a space for conversation and we should do everything to create such a space. There is a format of the Geneva International Discussions and we are taking steps that have made even slight progress in this format, "Kvirikashvili said.

On March 9, official Russia responded to Kvirikashvili"s appeal, where he had expressed his readiness to start a dialogue.
