Russia"s presidential election is over - according to preliminary information Putin is president again

The presidential election in the Russian Federation is over. The vote count will begin soon and official results will be published, but it is already known that the winner was Vladimir Putin, who was elected for the fourth time.

Total of 8 candidates took part in the elections among them were Ksenia Sobchak and Vladimir Zhirinovsky.

Election precincts were opened today in annexed Crimea, occupied Abkhazia and Samachablo.
