Today Irakli Okruashvili was questioned as a witness at the Omega Group trial. Irakli Okruashvili was a general prosecutor during the events of 2004.

Okruashvili said that the case against "Omega Group" and TV company "Iberia" was fair because it was related to a specific criminal offense. However, according to him, the form of entering in the company was inadequate.

"This TV station did not present anything and consequently, its concession in exchange for several millions, was not the right position. The decision was made that the criminal case was launched against smuggling, it was correct and appropriate actions, some might not like the form, but it was within the law. As far as the deprivatio of license is concerned, it may be wrong, "- Irakli Okruashvili said.

According to the prosecutor, Irakli Okruashvili noted that Zurab Adeishvili was involved in the process of seizure of the license.
