Cooperation with Georgia - the resolution was adopted by the United Nations Human Rights Council in New York.

The document emphasizes the assessments in the report of the High Commissioner for the 2017 and emphasizes the responsibility of the effective control of the Georgian regions to ensure the protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms on the ground.

In the Resolution Human Rights Council expresses serious concerns about the human rights situation in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions of Georgia and calls on the occupational regime to provide access to the High Commissioner"s Office and other monitoring mechanisms.
