I urge the society to forgive me my anger - Vato Shakarishvili, the Deputy Chairperson of the Tbilisi City Faction from the faction Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia, made a statement on the incident that took place during the discussion of the General Plan of Land Use in Tbilisi today.

According to him, the opposition made an inadequate step in regard to a constructive, professional public discussion.

"Despite the destructive actions of the opposition, I apologize to the society for my reaction. The general plan of land use should be based on a common consensus and agreement, "said Shakarishvili.

He said that the opposition had an absolute opportunity to express their opinions and put questions about the general plan. "Instead, they tried to put a political show,"- Shakarashvili said.
