"If Russia and pro-Russian separatists do not fulfill the terms of the agreement, it will be more costly for them," said US State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki.

Washington warns Russia that if the Minsk agreements are not fulfilled, the US will take additional measures against Russia.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Europe wants to revive the partnership with Russia, but at this point will do everything for the territorial integrity of Ukraine. 

"We want Russia to be a partner of Europe. We do not want to be against it," stated Merkel.
