The Georgian analysts appreciate the decision about the expulsion of the Russian diplomat from Georgia.

In their opinion, the situation is a kind of test that Tbilisi has successfully passed and openly expressed solidarity towards Europe.

"This is a political signal , which confirms the unity of the civilized, Western world. Russia wanted to break this unity and if we had not taken this step, then we would have found ourselves outside the world which opposes Russia. It was a strong political message to prevent further Russian aggression, "-Batu Kutelia, Vice-President of the Atlantic Council of Georgia stated.

Experts believe that in case of such unity, Russia"s reaction will not be crucial.

"We are one of the biggest victims of the Russian side, so we should not have problems to take such steps, but I welcome this step. As for Russia"s reaction, Russia"s reaction will be not only towards Georgia but towards all international community, "- said Nodar Kharshiladze, the founder of the Center for Strategic Analysis of Georgia.
