According to the Government"s decision, April 6, 2018, was declared a day of mourning for the tragedy in Mindeli mine. The government"s administration has released a statement about it.

State flags lags will be flying at half mast at all administrative buildings in honor of the memory of those killed in the Mindeli mine today.

"On April 6, the state flags will be lowered on all administrative buildings in honor of the memory of the victims killed in the tragedy in Tkibuli," the statement reads.

Six men were killed and three others were injured as a result of the accident in Tkibuli mine.
