"European Georgia" wants to get the support to Otkhozoria-Tatunashvili list from the European Parliament.

"It is important to pay special attention to the persons who commit crimes. They often have a chance to escape from responsibility. These persons will be punished at least by being publicly and officially declared their criminals Accordingly, they will face sanctions in different countries around the world, presumably except for Russia. In my view, the issue of imposing sanctions should be reflected in the European Parliament"s draft resolution. The Parliament of Georgia is united in this regard and I believe that the European Parliament will also support the Georgian side, "said Gunnar Hawkark, Member of the European Parliament.

Party leaders hope that in the resolution that the European Parliament should take in summer, will also include Otkhozoria-Tatunashvili list of sanctions package against Russia.

Opposition MPs have already held meetings in the European Parliament.

The main topic of discussion during the consultations was the aggressive policy of Russia against Georgia,Otkhozoria-Tatunashvili list and the internal political situation in Georgia.
