"The conclusions clearly show that Freedom House is biased against government," the parliamentary speaker said at the briefing held at the "Georgian Dream" central office today.

Irakli Kobakhidze spoke about the report of the influential organization. According to him, Georgia made significant progress since 2012. According to him, the report is biased in regard to the freedom of media as well.

He criticized the judicial authorities in the period of the previous government and noted that the court is free from control carried out by executive branch after 2012. According to Kobakhidze, the rating in tregard to judiciary independence in the country is "ridiculous" .

As the Chairman of the Parliament notes, the opinion that Saakashvili"s possible imprisonment will prevent Georgia"s cooperation with Europe and the US is ridiculous as well..

According to Kobakhidze, there are actual mistakes in the report.
