Majority does not agree with the criticism of the opposition in regard to State Security Office


The parliamentary majority positively evaluates the report of the State Security Service for 2017. Majority members say that this report is an example of maintaining stability.

According to the members of the majority, the opposition should not use it for political purposes when it comes to security. The Georgian Dream"s MPs criticize the parliamentary opposition"s statements.

Gia Volski responds to the statement of opposition that the threats oare presented correctly in the 2017 report, but the ways to respond these challenges are not properly evaluated.

"This is the opposition that" assessed properly " the situation and as a result we have received occupation of 20% of our country," Volski said.

Sopho Kiladze, another member of the majority speaks about human rights violations in the occupied regions. The Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights and Civil Integration considers the case of Archil Tatunashvili as violation of human rights as well and hopes that the investigation will be objective.
