"European Georgia" initiates development of legislative mechanisms against Russian propaganda and misinformation. Consultations on this issue began with pro-Western forces, NGOs and experts.

The initiative of "European Georgia" includes a number of amendments, including prohibitionof budgetary funds inflow and restrictions on financing from the Russian state towards non-governmental organizations and media outlets that are engaged in Russian propaganda.

The legislative package will be submitted to the Parliament in 2-3 weeks.
