Today"s government does what Russia needs - opposition responds to Zaharova"s statement

The opposition calls cynical and insulting the statement of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, regarding the Georgian-Russian relationship.

Leaders of the opposition parties consider Zaarkova"s statement as a result of the official letter sent by Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

"Today"s government does what Russia needs. The state of Georgia is weakening, weakening the national security council, president"s institution is being destroying , people are killed, people are insulted and the Prime Minister of our country sends an appeasing letter. Naturally this is approved by Russia and this kind of Georgia Ivanishvili wants , "said UNM member Giorgi Baramidze.

The "European Georgia" advises Georgian government to toughen tone in relation to Russia .

The party says that it is too early to talk about normalization of relations with Russia.

Maria Zaharova, representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said that since 2012 Georgia"s relations with Russia have improved. According to her, Tatunashvili"s case can not prevent this process.
