Batumi hosts NATO PA the 97th Rose-Roth Seminar. A President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly has addressed the participants of the meeting.

Paolo Alli drew attention to NATO-Georgia relations. According to him, the Assembly has always supported Georgia"s Euro-Atlantic aspirations and Georgia will become a NATO member. President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly spoke about Russian occupation activities as well.

"After the Russian aggression against Georgia in 2008, the Assembly immediately condemned the aggression and violated Georgia"s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Russia continues the occupation of Georgian territories - Abkhazia and so-called South Ossetia. His aggression in Ukraine, Crimea - is part of his attempt to endanger the sovereignty of a number of countries, "Paolo Alli said.
