Prime Minister of Armenia resigned

The Prime Minister of Armenia has resigned. This statement was posted on the website of the Armenian Government. Serzh Sargsyan made a decision on the background of mass demonstrations.

Sargsyan refused to resign yesterday. Armenian law enforcers detained an organizer and opposition leader Mirzoyan. He was released from prison this morning.

Military joined the protests today.
