President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili and Armenian President Armen Sargsyan held a telephone conversation.
According to the president"s administration, the telephone conversation was initiated by the President of Armenia, the Presidents of the two countries discussed Georgia-Armenia relations.
The statement released by the administration says that President of Armenia Armen Sargsyan provided information on the situation in Armenia. It was noted that the President of Georgia closely observes the ongoing processes in Armenia and the prosperity of the neighboring state is of utmost importance for Georgia.
Armen Sargsyan told Giorgi Margvelashvili that his visit to Georgia will be held on May 26 in order to participate in the celebration of Georgia"s independence day.
The President of Armenia noted that he will gladly visit Georgia and will share the festive mood of the Georgian people.
