Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze met with the members of the European Parliament today.

The main topic of the meeting was the situation in Georgia"s occupied territories, European and Euro-Atlantic integration and the ongoing democratic reforms in the country.

The Chairman of the Parliament thanked the European Parliamentarians for the visit and also for dicussion on April 25, 2018 at the SEDE Security and Defense Subcommittee (SEDE),of the security situation in Georgia and once again expressed support to our country.

Irakli Kobakhidze underlined the importance of the visit of the delegation during which the MPs will be able to get acquainted with the situation in the occupation line.

According to him, this visit is a strong signal of Georgia"s support.
