Majority of respondents believe that a person should not be punished for drug use - "Transparency International" research

Should a prison sentence be for the personal use of drugs? According to "Transparency International - Georgia"s survey, the vast majority of respondents say that in case of using light drugs, people should not be punished.

And 56% of respondents think that a person who uses club drugs should not be in prison.

According to the NGO survey, 53% of respondents think that people should not be punished in case of intravenous drug use.

The NGO surveyed 1800 people across the country.
