The Interior Minister will answer the questions of MPs on Friday, according to preliminary information. The MPs have questions regarding the May 12 Special Operation and the rally held on Rustaveli Avenue.

"There are questions about the special operation. As it seems the special operation was not necessary at all in order to arrest the people who are accused of drug trafficking. Then the main question is why the raid and intimidation were necessary,"- said the UNM member, "said Salome Samadashvili, one of the leaders of UNM.

" European Georgia" has questions in regard to the drug policy to the Minister of Internal Affairs as well.

"Why the Ministry of Internal Affairs does not fight drug addicts and what is the problem of today"s drug policy when the Ministry of Internal Affairs has to cover its n unprofessionalism with the riot of restaurants and clubs," says Zurab Tchiaberashvili.

MP Tamar Chugoshvili, the representative of the parliamentary Majority states that despite the fact that the actions of the Interior Minister were effective, the part of the youth still has questions on the special operation conducted in clubs.

Chugoshvili thinks that the Minister should answer these questions in the legislative body.
