The opposition responds to the trial which is underway at the European Court of Human Rights against Russia. Georgia is waiting for the decision of the European Court of Justice. Nevertheless, unlike the ruling party, Opposition considers that implementation of decision is not less important than the decision itself.

 "Unfortunately, today Georgia is represented by the government the PM of which blamed Georgia for the start of the war. Therefore the Ivanishvili and Tsulukiani team, unfortunately, will not be able to honour the interests of our country, but I still hope that the Strasbourg Court will establish the truth, "- said Tina Bokichava, the representative of United National Movement.

Opposition members recalled statements of Georgian government officials about the August 2008 war.

"The only thing that can harm our truth are statements of the present government that directly or indirectly indicate Georgia"s guilt in the war," Zurab Chiaberashvili, member of "European Georgia," said.
