President pardons 143 convicts

The President of Georgia has pardoned 143 convicts, 84 out of which will leave the detention facilities today. Sentence of 59 convicts has been reduced. The chairperson of the Pardon Commission Zviad Koridze stated about it at the briefing.

According to him, the moratorium on grave crimes continues and the Pardon Commission has postponed the cases of 216 convicts.
